YES!!! i have ordered a full set of alu carriers for my traxxas E-Revo 1/16, finaly i will get less slop and when i already ordered those parts i did take the HR upgradekit for the shocks, top,adj and bottom is in highgrade alu, at last!!

I går var det en riktigt trevlig afton, vi hade grillkväll med Per-Åke o Sofia ute i Slogboden. Stor brasa,god "Får-korv" och bärs....Regnet kom som en blixt...det fullkomligt bara ÖSTE ned!! Blixt o dunder avlöstes åxå. En lyckad kväll som jag kommer o minnas länge!

E-Revo 1/16 some small updates

Ok fellas, been pushing my Revo kinda hard now...after serious amount of packs i have snaped a plastic cvd youk (spelling) nothing broke, just popped out...after me and my son have been bashing this little bugger hard in the sand now there is some small issiues with this car...

1 - centershaft cover is real bad, it is perfect to collect all small stones and sand to GRIND down the youk and shaft to ZERO... bad, real bad....are you a tracker or a carpeter (like i am (a new car will hit me soon, just for race) it works but for bash...hey man??

2 - Shocks, they are REAL NICE to build, but are waaaay to small "underdimensioned" for this good car...to get it work ok, you have to seal one hole of in the pistons, and run app 50w front 70w rear...with the single hole it will built up bigger pressure and will POP the bottom cap...the bottom is bad, even with stock pistons i popém

3 - i can live with 1st post and the 2´nd one, but this one..i have been in contact with RPM and begged,asked and i really hope they will produce new axle carriers for this car..the sstockones are worse then a Nikko car...a pack or to and you have slopy that you can throw in the hat between.

Besides all this, it is only good...it handles like a dream, and i do recomend this one !!!

Vacation trip 2009 - Gotland is over..home again for 2 days only

So..i will not say finally cuz it was a great time on Gotland, i really liked this island. I wil in a few houers pick up our cat, Doris and then we will have a soft day today...Will tomorow travel to Dalarna and Älvdalen for app a weeks holiday.

Så, då e vi hemma igen efter en vecka på Gotland som ja kommer ha med mig länge i huvvet...ja gillar verkligen Ön o den har vi kanppt hunnit utforska..1 vecka e för lite, 2 e no lagomt så man hinner se allt o lite till. Nu skall vi snart hämta kära lilla Doris-katten o sen bli det lugnt i dag. I morrn bär det av till Älvdalen o 1 veckas semester till.

Vacationtrip 2009 - Hoburgen - Torsburgen - Holmhällar | Day: 6

270km on Gotland..is that a possible? Yes it is, we did drive to the south spot of Gotland, Hoburgen. A spectacular stone,that looks like a old man :) . On this trip we did stop on a few spots, that we wanted to see, The Torsburgen a fortress thats area is app 1.2km and dated around the year 0000. It is huge,and was intressting to see. This day was one of my best for a long time, qualitytime with my lovly family!.We even passed Holmhällar, a nice Rauk area,it was great for the kids to play around..

Ja man kan undra det? hur man kan avverka 27mil på södra sidan av Gotland, mjo det är möjligt...vi bestämde redan på Onsdagen att det blir "tidigt" så vi hinner se dom saker vi vill.

Torsburgen, en enorm fornborg daterad till kristifödelse med kol-14 metoden o har en areal på hela 1.2 kvadratkilometer...innan dess så var vi ner till Hoburgen, en spektakulär stenformation som hade bildats för flera hunndra/tusen år sdan, en Gubbe kunde man skåda om man stod på rätt ställe...jätte roligt. Holmhällar Raukområde, ochså ett intressant stopp, "fina" Raukar som tillät klättring för barnen, o fick några bilder...hela dagen va underbar, barnen va mittemellan i bilen, i bland gapiga o i bland tysta, en lång bilresa me få leksaker sätter tålamodet på prov. Ja e iallfall jätte stolt över dom, o vi avslutade kvällen på Toftastrands krog me god mat o öl.

Today it was a soft day...plans for the day was beach in the morning, and afternoon it was time to take a trip in to the "city"..not much to say, the weather was great, and the waves was real nice!!

Today we went to "Fårö" to watch some "Rauks"...besides that we stoped by Sudersand, what a BEACH!!! it was far better then Tofta,to bad those last days it have been real windy!. Sad to say, but my little E-Revo took a trip to the sea and was a real nice popcorn..R.I.P =)

Sent, men vi kom i väg i dag runt 9:45 ca..målet i dag va Fårö, en liten båttripp på ca 5 min från Fårösund o man va på det mest norra man kan få på Gotland. Tyvärr har det blåst nå fruktansvärt de senaste dagarna o i dag var det inget undantag. Väl på plats ute på Fårö vart det ett besök till Raukområdet o Digerhuvud o vilka Raukar...enormt o se detta fenomen!!


Stora vågor o frisk-kuling vind..Efter detta så for vi vidare till Sudersand o en så in i bomben fin strand att Tofta liknar en askkopp....




Tyvärr for min lilla E-Revo ut i Östersjön o vart en fin popcorn =) R.I.P

Vacationtrip 2009 - LummelundaCaves | Dag: 2

Ohh, what a day...i have not only with my family visit the Lummelunda caves i have also been seing one of the biggest "Rauks" @ gotland. As i am placed on mobilephone internet i wont be able to upload tons of pics...those will be shown later . Here is a pic from the cave..it was...well hard to find words, educational , fun,scary. I was there with my family, it was a blast i am so glad i did this!!

Haha, vilken dag, den slutade som den i går ÖSREGN..men det kom då vi va på G hem från dagens strapatser...Lummelunda grottorna va dagens höjdpunkt o ja va lite skeptisk...mina barn e 5 resp 6 o e inte mer än metern höga (typ ;))...Ja viste redan på känn att de va vadar-ställ som gälde då ja såg det på räckena vi entrén, men min andra hälft va inte lika övertygad... :D . "Storlek 40 ere minsa vi har".....jaha?! mina barn har typ 31-32...snacka om TÄLT...de gick o ja e sä imponerad, dom tog sig igenom hela grottan me oss, o de va STRÖMT ca 30-45cm högt vaten i systemet, för nåra dar sen vare 75...en klart sevärd upplevelse som ja kommer o suga på länge.

NOT: i går 18/7-2009

Så fick ja reda via en tidninh att ca 2500 blixtar på en timme fanns på Gotland, o en massa katastrofala översvämmningar..o ja kan bara instämma, det va något i hästväg..

En natt avklarad...i går vare exremt bra väder,varmt o så. Vi for runt lite o kollade lite. På kvällen tänkte vi ta oss te stranden men regnet kom när vi just kom fram...åskan o framfrallt blixtar gjorde att vi fi vick vänta ett ta...

Traxxas E-Revo VXL 1/16 - Astroturf track - Highgrip 1/10th track - Offroad

My 4th film from my home track "green hill" its a highgrip astroturf track. My revo have a new setup, it has one hole in pistons closed. a lot more pack, im running 70w rear and 50w front, and its a new car...to bad i have dicovered that shorten the pushrod change the geometry on the rockers, so it feels still springy, and before i adjusted the pushrod it was PERFECT. i will use limiters in the shock from now on.

Front is Proline rib 2wd..and its a blast!!!

Adjustble pushrods for the E-Revo VXL 1/16

To this date i have been using ball-ends and hollow balls for the Stampede, they are trimemd to fit and working ok. To bad when the car compress they bind when the car flatsot...somthing like a swaybar...

I stoped by the LTD (local traxxas delaer) and did find some real nice stuff.

Parts that will be needed.

-DU-BRO Ballends/swivels #369 2/56 - 4/40
-Short AE turnbuckles 45mm (im using FT)
-Longer AE Turnbuckles 51mm (same as above)
-Drill 3mm
-Drill 2.5mm
-Plier protect the "mouth" with some tape

Parts:



Take out the ball, use the 2.5mm drill to get bigger hole



The little washer that follow must be drilled to, they are used @ the rockers



You have to drill app 6mm in the ball"stud" when you use short turnbuckle for pushrod so you can screw them together tight. Use the 3mm drill




When this is done, all you have to do is mount everything on the car..



As you can see @ the rockerarm i am using the little washer, it must be mounted on "top", it is tight, litle force but it will work.

Yesterday i set of some time to run little 2wd, i took out my S2 SWB and it felt great. After some tips and tricks from my friend Foppa i was back on track with a better setup. Later another clubmate arrived, Johannes E with his new Pink-Mid RB5...here is some Vs pics..i had the chance to test the car and it handles almost like the S2, im realy impressed of he´s work, the car felt real dialed. little less rear grip, but the tires where little bad...i think the mid cars are the future, we just have to tune them,and then conform us to this type of car...

I går vare lite 2wd köra, tog ut o lufta 2wd o hade dessutom chansen att testa Johannes nya Pink-Mid RB5. Ja va faktiskt ganska inställd på att den kändes som en "Mitt motorbil" typ S2, o visst, bilen känds väl avstämd o balanserad!! Ja e mäkta imponerad av Johannes arbete, o har beställt karosser!. Nu va däcken lite slitna så den saknade lite,lite bak grepp, men i det stora hela får den klart en 5a!. Framtiden är mid bilar det tvivlar ja inte en sekund på, det gäller att tuna till dom o sedan anpassa sig lite.

Some thoughts....About the E-Revo VXL 1/16 from Traxxas

So i have tried,charged and looked at my new E-Revo VXL 1/16, the new car from Traxxas. I must say first of all, i´d never ever thought im gonna buy a Traxxas RTR model, never. But i small started with my FLM superextended wide truck ok, that have only the diff form a Traxxas car rest is CM. Anyway here is what i thinking of the truck so far.

-My first impression of it was the box, it looked real costy, well done and nothing halfdone.
-The manual and other bits are located in small transparent bags and are real good, id say Xray quality of the manual. To bad the exploded wiew is attached in a BORING regular copied paper...
*I havnt used the stock transmitter and Battery, so they are still unused. What ive been hearing they work good. 27mhz band.
-Ok the car, the body i do not like at all, i want to custom paint my own lids, so this is a minus, but it still looks real mean. Under the "hood" here we have a huge motor...its a 28mm diamter and 40mm++ long! and are around 4000rpm/v or 44 hundred, not sure...But in the combination with the stock pinion that is like 28T !! the car runs REAL fast with stock battery (nimh 7.2v). Ok i dismounted the reciver,and monted my Spectrum Rx so i can use my own more advanced radio, the KoPropo Helios EX-10.
-The car felt REAL soft, i was told we have 40w in shocks around, and green springs..since im gonna use min indoor on carpet and outdoor on astroturf (hig grip) this setup is waaaaaay to soft. And the outtravel on this car is one of the biggest ive seen!! (ok, not big revo or monstertrucks truggy etc) but for a scale like this...
-I ordered Flightmax lipos 1800 2s (7.4v) gonna run them separatly and not in paralell or Serial
-FOr my first test i have already changed Springs up to black in the rear and TAN in the front with 100 rear and 80 front...this meaning i never ever tested the car stock.
-i must say Wow!! what a speed, and the car turns on a coin!! this is it this car...Jummie! and for this i mountd the Kyosho rims shrouded with Prolines Holeshot M3 4wd fronts, so i never tested the stock ones...

-Track testing, the outtravel is way to long, i had to ziptie my rockerarms for less travel, and went up to 200w in the rear (little to much for the bumpie track, but A LOT BETTER) You can see it here on my chanel.

-After this movie i took the car up to the big 1/8th scale offroad track loose and wet, but ok...And what a BIG difference the car handled so MUCH better....i am stunned. The long travel was ace on this kind of track!....i have abused it, jumped it, taking some trippel jumps,serious craches..the car just working...

-At this day i have changed stock ESC to the Castlcreations MambaMAX esc and using a Ko 3101 Servo. I have retuned my slipper and the car is done almost. Adjustble pushrods is mounted and i just waiting to get more track time.



* Ok so what is my final words then? Well, id never thought im gonna say, BUY IT, RUN IT, LOVE IT!!!! The only small updates i recomend is.

-Lipo 1600-2200mah 2s packs 3s is just WOD
-Springs get BLACK and TAN
-80-200w oil
-1/10th Kyosho rims with racing tires

E-Revo 1/16 - slipper/tuning

Yes today we have heavy rain here....thought i should set up my slipper...i tightened it upp a little bit, it precisely wheeling on full throttle. After some serious gas/brake app 67 minutes on carpet @ home i could measure a temp on motor around 66 Celsius and 44 on ESC.....i think i like this combo actually :D:D

Regn,regn....fy bubblan. I da så har ja tunat in slippern på bilen så att den precis orkar resa sig på fullgas från stilla stående, de knappt så den klarar...slippern e numera perfa o kan nu bara köra på...

E-Revo 1/16 - CastleCreations MambaMAX esc

Since i am not a hundred % fan of the stock ESC, i wanted to test something else..i have already tested the Novak mongoose/Team Wave RB-50 combo, and it worked ok, but a little to small motor.. - Next out here is my MambaMAX esc from my FLM Stampede. I have installed it, and tested it here @ home, it feels good, more power...

Som de flesta vet nu? så e ja inge monsterfan av Traxxas egna ESC som medföljer, det duger gott o väl åt "vanliga" applikationer, men ja tycket de saknades kräm...Ja har som sagt redan testat Novak/TeamWave kombon o ville testa MambaMAX reglaget...o som de passar ...o det känns faktiskt bättre.

E-Revo 1/16 - Servo Ko 3101 - Mounted

So finaly i have mounted my new servo from Ko

Its a 3101 and have some real nice Spec

0.09 0-60 deg @6v

And its fast, it is almost HYSTERICAL...no i have a servo that i am used to have...sick fast. This does NOT mean that the stock servo is bad,it is REAL good, but i missed something.

SÅ har ja installerat mitt nya Ko servo ett 3101 o bara ett ord!! SJUKT snabbt , nästan hysteriskt. Ja vill inte påstå att orginal e dåligt tvärt om ja e mäkta impad av det, men de saknades nått...
