Xray M18TP - Evo

My first pics on the new chassi that i will send to UK. It is a "highspeed run" chassi.

Spec is

+60mm on length
+10mm on width
+8mm on motormount from centre shaft to accept larger pinions

First stop is done...kickup is done on the M18T2..as i have said erlier, this is just a test, and the finish car will probably not be in plastic...time will tell. Next is Steering...

Xray M18TP Edition 2wd - XrayM18TPE2

I have decided for a new project...it will be called

Xray (since it is based on the truck) M18T2 the 2 stands for 2wd (rear)

First prototype will use a Plastic Chassi

Motor location is not decided yet, front or rear...not sure yet...

Stickpack is good for me, already have those packs here...is this the way to go?

Motor and ESC will be as always be eZrun 18A...a 12T motor (7800rpm/v)

The front will bea real intresting...;)

WIth my Revo 1/16 and FLM Stampede sold i have "only" my Mini LST2 and Vendetta ST here....the last one is in a "bag" :D and waiting for a major update...or should i sell it?

Summer season is over and now the winter one begins in a few weeks...between my runs i want something to do...but what??

I have just finished my 2 x Xray M18T trucks to M18T Pro messurements, with new longer (16mm) chassis. Carbonfibre from Fullforcerc.

Vendetta "2wd" is not a option since it have already been done...

Belt driven 4wd truck, is a good one, but...not sure...it requiers that i get a higher CG i have to think about this one....

Hmmm......How about a 2wd Xray ? Now this can be a fun one??

Last day outdoors....what a day!!

This was my last day outdoors...from now on i will wait untill indoor practice and racing will start...It was a real nice day, sun and warm...Som bbq - hotdogs and that was the i of the spot!!

Sista körningen utomhus för min del iallfall. Körde 1 ack me 4wd o lika kul som sist . Linus var med mig o det va trevligt som 17. LasseB4 mfl kom på löpande band...lite grillkorv mä brö satt som smäck!!.

So i finally did my first foam-tires for indoor practice/test. First , the rules for racing indoor this season is set to Schumacher Minipins and minispikes. But i want to test this, i will make one set for my Atomic Carbon S4 4wd car later this weekend.

Im done for the moment..and i must say..a fun little car...next on my "must list" is the viscous diffs and a center MIP, new plastic...then it is ready for the wide kit and some swaybars . But so far, this is how it looks...it was in a BAG when it arrive in kind o dirty condition...

First, the Mohr replica is on ice for a while..it will come, but for now it will be a "basher"...i traded this car, so it aint in the best condition. But most of it was dirty...some screws are missing and i will replace most of the plastic asap. For now i have cleaned the damper,plastic and ad some alu blue washer for look. a Ko 2413 will do the trick for steering and Motor and esc have not decided yet.

ezrun 25A or a Mamba Micro Pro - Motor will be a 280 ca 7780rpm motor.

Xray M18TP Edition - chassi nr: 2 | El instalation.

Chassi is done, i have mounted,bottom,topdeck and CShaft and servo...im just in to mount electrics.

I did not have any 18A esc left, so i went for the bigger brother , the 25A is little to big for my taste, but it seems to perform REAL good, so i might keep it.

Chassit e klart, toppdeck,botten o servo monterat. Numera e ESC klart, dock vart det ändå ett 25A esc...stör mig lite på det iom att 18A e så mycket mindre.

Xray M18TP Edition |Ultra lightweight shaft

So finaly my "new" M18TP E" Is done. i just mounted my new ultra lightweight centershaft. It is made of carbonfiber tube, but is reinforced at the ends

Alloy Stock M18T (non pro) w:3.6 grams
Carbonfibre M18TPE (pro measurements) :EDIT 2.2 grams

It was little tricky to make one, but as soon it was done, it was just to press in place...Now it is the time for testing..i have only done some testing home on carpet...

Så, äntligen vart M18TP Edition bilen klar, i går monterade jag min sista del på bilen, dvs lättvikts kardanaxeln. Den är tillverkad av Kolfibertub 4x2mm samt förstärkt i ändarna.

Jag skall nu bara få tid o plats att testa denna skapelse...funderar på att dra mig bort till en stor ny afalterad parkering o soppa lite däck o bara se hur de funkar...
