Season 2010/2011 - 1/10th and 1/18th Offroad.

Winter/indoor season is soon over..and we have only a few runs left.I have tested the 4wd 1/10th and 2wd car at 2 times this winter, and they feels great,as usually =). No there is only wait for the summer, and i have plans to run SC in Örebro like last year. I have no goal, since i have not practice 2/4wd so much. Last year i finished 5th in 2wd and 7th in 4wd. A Final this year WILL be extremly hard...in 2 and 4wd.

I think i will practice a few times in Skarpnack, and Orebro and Falun. maybe Vasteras.

I will like last year try the 1/18th car this summer, with the new Belt driven RC18B2 i think it will set a new standard, and with the 3Racing shocks it will be a blast? i think on looser materials i think it can be little harder but on our astrotrack it will be real fun.

TEK18T | Practice number 3 | Pre Order RC18B2

Never ever thought that i would mount 3Racing shocks on my Associated RC18 - TEK18B car...But, this is the best investment for this little car, they are OUTSTANDING!!. I Recived my shocks for a few day ago, and decided to test some Losi Mini-T NiTr shock axles. Teh yare to long...the Front Losi axles almost fit rear 3Racing. So i did some modification on thoose...

The Test was awsome, best ever for a long time!!...the car swallows everything almost, and you can jump to long, and it feels good.Today i run Losi rear silver and AE Rear blue cut one coil in front.

Did see that the RC18B2 wll be here in Swe next week, i preeordered one here insted.

Ojoj, i går vare körning, så de stod härlia till, dock kändes det att man varit i gång...man vart rätt seg. Men som bilen presterar med de nya dämparna. 3Racing e nått ja e emot, mest för att det inte är orginal, men i bland får man svälja stoltheten o testa. O vilken skillnad, det e sån enorm skillnad att det e löjligt. Vi har som sagt de senaste körtillfällena testat bilen hårt o me massa olika inställingar!. Vi har faktiskt kommit oerhört långt o vill påstå att vi e nära nu.

(No pics this time) I arrived after 18:00, and there was a lot of people, and more to come...new begginers, and more "race". This was the 2nd test for me and the new TEK18T...I started off on my Losi Mini-T foams, and they worked well...to sad i used traction compund on them, to much...they were almost undrivble. Not far from a wrestle match...the car was not so dialed, but i continiue to drive...it was fun, but Traction rolling started to come. Got a tip from Robban, but on that ear i didnt listen (want to run YELLOW wheels :D:D:D)...We use app 95% same setup...

He is running 2x1.0 and i 1x1.0, but diff W. However, last pack, i changed back to AE foams..and what a dream...real bad traction, but in a good way...used a quick tire tractioncompund..and out on track...Now we talking!!...I am glad, and i must say, i like the car more and more..

Ojoj, va folk de kom. Jag brukar sällan skriva o uttrycka mig, ja säger aldrig något, men i går var det väldigt nära. E en hel del "nya" ansikten, som inte visar speciellt mycket hänsyn, tränger sig före, o inte accpeterar körreglerna utan nästan ser klubben som en "bash" stuga. Ett tydligt exempel på dtta e den enkla reglen, stannar man bilen på banan,ligger på tak etc, Måste man skrika ut detta, "bil på rakan" typ...Jag klev ut i detta fall på rakan, o häll stumt...stod en bil på rakan, o sedan var det godnatt. Bulkhead fram, + bumper gick spnder.Skall ta upp detta med styrelsen.

MEN, ja o Robban labbade lite, o har kommit fram till som i så många fall, Dämparna+ Soppan e avgörande alla kategorier. Visst e dämparna viktiga, hur skulle de se ut me plankor?. Well, lite ändringar kan komma under veckan, som de e nu, kör vi bara, bilarna gick så in i H bra!!

I dag blir det slappa dagen hugo, me lite glen o Sthlm.

2nd attempt for some RC18 TEK18T car...hope we have found the setup, and i have changed back to stock front carriers...leaved the Casters to for stock. I love much steering, but a nervous car is little to much. Pics and report will be up Sat..

I da ere andra testen me nya AE bilen..hoppas det går fint, iom att sista acket förra helgen va de ack då bilen gick bra som 17, men då hadde vi labat typ hela dagen o ändrat fram o tebaka...Nu ere upp tebevis om det funkar me 2x0.9 fram o 1x1.0 bak...

Ok so i have tested it..and, it was good..took a whole day to finished it,test it, and then tune it..but now we are coming some where..We are back to square one and it feels good to have test a lt of diff setups...

Ja, va skall man säga, stackars Robban som fick skruva nå frenetiskt, ja gjorde en liten del bara, all cred till Robban Häggren på klubben för iordningställandet av min bil..o som den vart!!!
